The sonic project of Brian Krall, an artist and producer deeply immersed in the world of analog and digital electronic instruments and modular synthesizers. Taking its cue from the intricate balance wheel hairspring in a mechanical timepiece, the name Balance.Spring embodies the project's central themes: the careful management of sonic flow and the dynamic interplay between diverse textures and sounds. Beyond the technical intricacies, Balance.Spring embraces the profound healing nature of sound and music, a belief deepened through training in sound healing under the cosmic guidance of Allison Bagg.

Drawing on this understanding and a broad palette of influences, Balance.Spring navigates a diverse range of electronic music genres, including the melodic drive of techno, the raw textures of industrial, the expansive soundscapes of ambient techno and atmospheric ambient, and the sound manipulation experiments of Musique Concrète. This versatility informs both meticulously crafted recorded tracks and captivating live performances, which unfold as immersive journeys in sound and texture.
